My thoughts

3.5 out of 5 stars.

Well where do I begin. I think this is the lowest rated book out of all my reviews on my blog. When I first started reading the book it was okay but it was a bit like the TV series Secret Circle (which is also a book series). I found it a bit boring and predictable and the main character annoyed me so much. She did this thing where she would bit her bottom lip when she was nervous or whatever. Don’t get me wrong I don’t mind characters having little habits but it got to the point she was always biting her lip, like every so many pages I’m surprised she had a lip left but the end of the book. The other characters weren’t very memorable, I like Owen a lot and Fox was cool but I don’t really remember the others.

When I started reading this book I expected that I was going to love it, however I felt really disappointed. I gave 3.5 stars however because the ending really made up for the book, it ended on a cliff hanger and as much as I didn’t really enjoy the start of the book the ending actually made me want to read more of the series and see where it goes. I am still in two minds about whether or not I will continue with the series.
