Desperate for answers, she turns to Charlie’s troubled best friend, London Herald journalist, Sophie Kent. Sophie knows police have the wrong man – she trusts Charlie with her life.

Then Charlie flees.

Sophie puts her reputation on the line to clear his name. But as she’s drawn deeper into Charlie and Emily’s unravelling marriage, she realises that there is nothing perfect about the Swifts.

As she begins to question Charlie’s innocence, something happens that blows the investigation – and their friendship – apart.

Now Sophie isn’t just fighting for justice, she’s fighting for her life.

My thoughts:

5 out of 5 stars

I won a copy of this book from Readers First.

When I started reading this I didn’t know it was book 2 of a series however I didn’t have any problem reading the story.

As I keep saying the thriller genre is becoming my favourite and this is another book to add to the great ones I’ve read. I loved the main character and I really enjoyed her narration and I found myself getting connected to her character. The story over all was so well written, it was such a good story. I love the fact that I would think I knew where the story was going and that I had figured out the plot but everytime that happened there was a twist and I was left shocked at each twist. The twists were really well written and left myself doubting what was going to happen. I loved this book so much and I am going to read the first book as soon as I can.

I cannot reccomend this highly enough. Go read it guys !!
